3ITAL is currently developing a certification process intended to certify AI-based tools that have proven safe and secure for use in the legal field and that align with the rigorous ethical requirements of the legal profession. The certification process is not yet available, however, but we are working diligently to implement it.
The 3ITAL AssuredAI Certification will be our mark of excellence for AI tools in the legal field, signifying that a tool is not only innovative but also sufficiently safe, ethical, and aligned with the high standards demanded by legal practice. Our rigorous certification process will evaluate each tool’s data handling practices, including encryption methods, confidentiality safeguards, and access controls, ensuring that client information is protected at every stage. We will also review terms of service and compliance with ethical duties to guarantee that certified tools can be integrated into legal workflows with confidence.
Beyond technical security, the 3ITAL AssuredAI Certification criteria will encompass usability, transparency, and reliability. By achieving 3ITAL AssuredAI Certification, AI tools will have demonstrated their commitment to supporting legal professionals in a manner that respects client confidentiality and upholds the ethical responsibilities inherent to the legal field.
